As a holiday gift to partners, we’ve rolled out an update to our Lead Generation Program. Partners who have set up Retrospect minisites can now use the 1-Click Sales Campaigns to link to their own minisites.
When you log into the Partner Portal and download an email template, the call-to-action is already set up, linking to your minisite’s trial page. When the customer then downloads a trial, the lead shows up automatically in your portal’s pipeline page.
Under the hood, the Partner Portal checks that they have a minisite set up and adds that URL to the appropriate trial campaign email templates. For others, like our new email protection and endpoint protection templates, the Partner Portal continues to include the "preferred_reseller" URL parameter in the link.
The "preferred_reseller" attribute works across the Retrospect.com website. Visitors do not need to immediately download a trial, so you still get the lead if they browse the site first and then download a trial.
Try it out at Partner Portal - Sales Campaigns.
